No! The cost of green cleaning solutions versus traditional methods of cleaning is identical in today’s market. Every major manufacturer offers lines of green certified products and equipment that are comparable to standard products and equipment. So why not clean green when it’s healthier and better for the environment?
Yes! Over the years, green cleaning has been developed and evolved to the point that it works just as effectively – if not more so – than traditional methods, offering benefits that traditional methods cannot compete with.
We service the tri-state area of Illinois/Indiana/Wisconsin, with a concentration in the Chicago seven-county area.
We work with our clients to generate a Request For Proposal and site visit, detailing the objectives and scope of work our clients wish to achieve. Once we have completed this process, we forward potential clients a proposal with recommendations tailored to their specific facility or property.
Depending on the size of a facility or property, we conduct a tour of all of the buildings within the property requiring service. As a part of the tour, we review client priorities and objectives, supply and equipment inventory levels, staffing levels, and areas of concern. Length of site visits will vary depending on the needs and preferences of the facilities director or property manager.
Staff members are trained with current teams at established properties under the supervision of senior level managers. All of our staff members are taught to incorporate best practices and procedures as outlined in the U.S Green Building Council’s IEQc 3.1 performance standards for Building Services Contractors as well as ISSA’s Cleaning Industry Management Standard CIMS 1101:2006. Ongoing training is provided through the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) workshops and programs, and through other industry trade groups.
Yes! School cleaning is one of our specialties. We follow all of the guidelines and specifications set forth in the Illinois Green Cleaning Schools Act (105 ILCS 140) and Healthy Schools Campaign, and incorporate best practices and procedures as outlined in APPA’s Custodial Guidelines for Educational Facilities.
Additionally, these guidelines also apply to any public facility and our approach to servicing them.
Your property will be assigned a working supervisor as well an area manager who will be visiting regularly to assess progress and priorities. Each property has a log book to communicate with your site’s staff. It is our philosophy, as senior management, to visit our properties on a regular basis and maintain the lines of contact with our clients.
